Meet the Doctor
Dr. Matthew Mendillo is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Pre-Med from the University of Rhode Island. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Society and attends the annual National Chiropractic Legislative Conference held in Washington, DC every year to lobby for the progression of the profession.
Dr. Mendillo is licensed to practice chiropractic in both his home state of Rhode Island as well as in Massachusetts. He is a member of both the Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island and the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society. He is a certified Pro-Adjuster chiropractor (one of only 4 in RI) and regularly attends seminars on the advancement of the ProAdjuster, a non-invasive, computer-based treatment.
Dr. Mendillo is also one of only 2 doctors in RI certified in Graston Instrument Soft Tissue Mobilization technique. He has received First Responder Training and is certified in CPR. He is certified to cast orthotics by Sole Supports, Inc., and has completed over 150 hours of post-graduate education in functional neurology. Dr. Mendillo is dedicated to promotion of providing the complete wellness philosophy and treatments associated with chiropractic.
Dr. Mendillo is a member of the distinguished non-profit organization, The Foundation for Wellness Professionals. This national organization promotes wellness and disease prevention workshops in businesses throughout the community.
Dr. Mendillo holds a 3rd degree black belt in Kuntao Jiu-Jitsu and is currently an instructor at the Johnston, RI location.
